Shot List
1. Mid shot of the man looking down, this shot sets the mood by showing a depressed man looking down.
2. A Close up to show the man's emotions
3. A canted angle used to show instability between the couple and gives dramatic effect to the argument.
4. Reverse Zoom (long/mid shot): this shot is used to make it look like the man is shrinking and is powerless
5. Another Canted angle which shows the argument between the man and woman, but shows that the arguments has progressed.
6. Reverse zoom, Long shot: this is used to show that the man is even smaller and feels small.
7. the next shot is of the door which he feels is the only way out of this situation.
8. this is a long/mid shot to show the man walking out of the door, this is a side on view to show his face and to continue the mood of the situation outside.
9. Eight and Nine's shots are the same but 8 is when he walks out the door and 9 is when he is walking through the park, this skips in time to show his progression of escaping his house to somewhere more quite.
10. the next shot is ground level and the focus is on the ground and not on the man but he is in the shot but blurred. This shows his very unclear vision of things and misunderstanding.
11. A mid shot of the man to show his facial language.
12. The next shot is of what he is looking at and this is the woman as a spirit.
13. the shot switches back to the mid shot of man to show his expression when he acknowledges her presence (but he is imagining her being there)
14. The shot continues, he looks left and sees (15.) her standing by a tree
16. you get another shot of man after seeing her by a tree and as well and this front shot shows his expressions.
17. This a point-of-view shot when the man is running, she is in his sights
18. this is the same shot but he looks away from her but sees her again (shots 12, 15,17 and 18 are to show that the woman is everywhere, haunting him)
19. a mid shot, sideways shot of the man running to show his desperation to get away from her
20. We focus on the woman sitting on the bench while he runs past her
21. a close up of the woman on the bench (20, 21 just give the idea that the woman is the artist as well as the woman in the story) the close up in 21 shows the emotions of the woman.
22. this is a mid shot of the back of the man as he is running, this gives the effect that the man is trying to turn his back on the situation and his fears
23. Shot showing the man running and his face expression changes as he (24) sees her in front of him
25. He dodges around her so he is trying everything to run away from her (fear is in his face)
26. this is a mid shot showing the woman on her own and she turns around and then 27 we see a close up of the woman and see her staring at he man (she keeps looking at him, stalking him)
28. Similiar shot of the man running before, but the man has a look of anxiety on his face as he tries to escape her stare
29. The next shot is a long/mid shot that is focused on the bench and the man runs into the shot. This is when he rests.
30. This a midshot of the man sitting down on the bench, taking a breather and thinks he has escaped the woman but his peace is soon disturbed in shot 31
31. this is a mid/close up frontal shot of the man to show his exaustion, the woman is shown in this shot but unfocused whereas he is the main focus. The main focus changes to the woman in shot 32 to go with the the lyrics
33. This a over the shoulder shot from the man's perspective and the woman is infront of him as well as behind him, she walks towards him he is surrounded and feels choked by her prescence in his mind
34. this a mid/long shot of the man when he decides to resume his getaway, the woman still concentrates on him as he runs.
35. another point-of-view shot as the man runs, she appears infront of him
36. the mid shot view of when he dodges the woman the first time, but this time he bursts through her and he is angered by the reoccurance of her prescence.
37. a high angle shot being him as he breaks down on the ground, a high angle is used to show him break down inside.
38. A birds eye view shot of the man on the ground, a reverse zoom to show him like he is shrinking as he screams because he has been driven insane.
